Do you know what your smartphone says about you? My study aims to find
out what information can be revealed about people through their
smartphone usage. The GCSB can collect ‘non-personal’ information or
metadata – what does this ‘non-personal’ information potentially tell
others about your life? What kind of knowledge could be created about
you?
If you want to participate in my user study, have an Android device,
and want to be eligible to earn yourself a Wishbone voucher, email me at
mailto:jason.pather@ecs.vuw.ac.nz
All you have to do is:
- fill in an online questionnaire (~ 15 mins)
- install an app on your Android device to collect anonymous data
about calls and text.
Feel free to email me if you have any questions/concerns.
