The usual cost of local trips is $15 - $20. Beginners are welcome, subject to weather and river conditions on the day, and the number of experienced paddlers available to provide instruction. The date given above for local trips is usually a Saturday, but trips might actually take place on the Sunday by popular vote or at the whim of the organiser!
