Theme Issue on Metamodeling

The Theme Issue on Metamodeling was the inaugural Theme Issue for the Springer journal Software and Systems Modeling. It invited original high-quality submissions focusing on topics related to metamodelling.

Call for Papers

The Call for Papers was issued in January 2007. From an initial set of 12 submissions, ten were considered to be in-scope. Fourty internationally reowned expertes then provided four reviews per article.


       

Editorial

In order to achieve both an acceptable number of articles and a high standard, some authors were given the opportunity to revise their articles. Finally, only four articles were finally regarded as meeting the standards of Software and Systems Modeling. All four articles are linked to from the editorial.
