About Me

My name is Binh Phu NGUYEN (that is Nguyễn Phú Bình in Vietnamese). I am currently a Senior Lecturer in Data Science at the School of Mathematics and Statistics in Victoria University of Wellington (VUW), New Zealand. Prior to joining VUW in 2018, I was a Scientist at the Institute of High Performance Computing which is under the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore. Before that, he worked as a Research Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and then as a Research Fellow in the Centre for Computational Biology, Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore. I earned my Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NUS in 2012. I received my B.Eng. (Hons.) and M.Sc. degrees from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam, where I was also a Lecturer in the School of Information and Communication Technology until 2007.
