Adam R. Day

Lecturer in Mathematics, Victoria University of Wellington

About me

I am a lecturer in mathematics at Victoria University of Wellington. My research is in the area of mathematical logic, in particular recursion theory. All of my papers are available online.

I obtained my PhD from Victoria University of Wellington in May 2011 under the supervision of Rod Downey and Noam Greenberg. From August 2011 to July 2013, I was a Miller Fellow at the University of California at Berkeley. My sponsor in the Department of Mathematics was Theodore Slaman.

Victoria University has a number of researchers in mathematical logic (in addition to Rod, Noam and myself, there is Rob Goldblatt). If you are interested in studying logic here see this brochure.
