Biography

Sudhir is currently a Phd student under the supervision of Dr. Paul Teal and Dr Pawel Dmochowski at the School of Engineering and Computer Science (ECS), Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.

Sudhir received his BE (Hons. Class 1) in Computer Engineering from University of Wollongong, NSW, Australia in 1999. From 2000 to 2005 he was employed at Industrial Research Ltd. (IRL) in Wellington as a research engineer working in the areas of wireless communications, audio signal processing and sonar systems.

In 2006 Sudhir joined Dolby Labs, Sydney, Australia, as the lead FPGA digital design engineer where he worked on the design of FPGA based DSP processor and professional audio signal processing equipment.

In 2008 Sudhir returned to IRL where he is currently employed as a research engineer working in the areas of wireless communications and sonar systems.

Research

Sudhir's reasearch is focused on feedback reduction techniques for MIMO systems and application of convex optimisation theory to communication systems.
